My passage red tail started showing green streaks in her castings a few weeks back and yesterday I found a solid green one?? Her behavior and disposition hasnt changed and dont act sick. The only changes ive made is adding day old chicks to her diet rotating them every other day with white mice and ocassional quail. Do I have a health issue with her?
Two Weeks ? Why have you waited so long to find the cause? What has your sponsor Said ? Green mutes means there is bile in the fecal matter and urates. It can be a sign of low condition , a hawk at hunting weight , or more serious illnesses and internal parasites. Castings should not be green, that's a sign of a crop infection or parasites. If it's been green for a few weeks, take it to the vet . Don't pass go, get to the vet. The Internet can't diagnose your hawk , but a simple fecal smear at the vet can.

It is good to have an end to Journey towards, but it is the journey that matters in the End. - Ernest Hemingway
Ok thanks. The green streaks were not constant so my sponcer wasnt as concerned as I have been but I will definately inform my sponcer and get her to the vet.
