Does anyone have any opinons on the newer falconry GPS Telemetry equipment that sends coordinates to your phone?? I have noticed that it is considerably cheaper than most falconry telemetry. If it works well, it would be nice to not have to drop 500+ on a receiver then another 100+ for the mounted unit for traditional telemetry, for my Red Tail.
Any opinions? has anyone actually used them on here?

Looks like it's ~$900 US? You can get a conventional set up much cheaper. I think my friend spent about $250 on his total. That said, I don't personally know of anyone using GPS tracking in the US. The issue most people have voiced is lack of cell service in some hawking areas, or areas the bird may fly to. However, I would be interested in hearing people's experiences with it.
