No, we don't get that much. 4 or 5 inches that normally lasts about 1-3 days. I have 3 2x4s bracing it every 2 feet and a central beam (2x4) going 90 degrees to it.
that is a great mews ;D how much did it cost im on a really low budget since im only 14...
Thanks trouble it came to $550. $130 was pea gravel which I'm sure you could get cheaper from some place else. I found it takes 30 bags to fill a 8x8 area to 4 inches.
I suppose it could be done. The main reasons against it would be the surface of the "Bars" being rough and possibly causing damage to your raptor ( more so than the smooth Conduit surface) ; the Outside diameter of rebar is smaller than EMT as well so the distance between bars would need to be smaller; also, rebar is Raw steel it will rust very fast without being treated and painted. Even then the application would need to be frequent. Maybe an epoxy coating would make it sealed and smooth them out a bit. I personally would not take the chance of the surface damaging a bating bird. I would not imagine rebar would be any cheaper than the EMT bars anyhow.
