I've had a hecktic season. Mavro is on loan to a friend, who wanted to try and fly a longwing he was doing good for me but when gas prices jumped gas to get to my fields was killing me. I had a rt stolen. got some new hh's Looks like lindsay's bird cracked it's keel (getting radio graphed today). Left my state club. Got a replacement rt that refuses to lose weight. Trying to train these mini dachshunds. I'm coming up to NJ on the 3rd. I've been talking to Brian and heard the story about how you caught that rt. All I could do was laugh. I'm going to try and hunt with him while I'm up there. Are you going to be around?
08 season: 51squirrels 16 rabbits 43miscellaneous
I'm sorry, but you said "it's impossible" when you really meant "I don't know how yet".
jfneumann57, I'll be around. The medowlands are kicking right now too. Stupid amount of ducks, pheasents and bunnies. Run your dog with ours for a few days, it would help. If you and Lindsay need a place there is a extra bed room here and in L.I. jfneumann57, kenbro77, To stop the problem of carrying. All that really needs to be done, for now at least. Tie a sparrow down with fishing line and let your bird catch it. As your bird eats it, walk around it, over it, ect. As it is about to finish offer it a nice size tid bit and jump it to your glove. Do it a few times, maby 2-4. As time goes on try putting a eye hook in the ground and running the fishing line through it. Give it alot of slack. This will help you see if it worked. If it didnt let the bird catch it in the air and let the line bring em down. Then try again. Most of the time when a bird trys to carry its worried about getting stolen from. Get them use to walking around them, even enlist frinds, dogs, ect.
