This sounds like a silly question, honestly, but I haven't found it under 'common' raptor diseases anywhere. The only reason I ask is because I've noticed for the last 2/3 days that my PFRT has had a little bit of clear fluid coming out of her nostrils. Its not affecting her appetite or behavior (stil bating and biting as hard and strong as ever), nor does anything look 'off' about her mutes. Also, her breathing seems completely normal, no rattling or 'wet' sound in her breathing like the beginnings of asper.
Could this just be a common cold, or a precursor/symptom of something more serious? I've been watching her for any abnormal behavior but thus far nothing has arisen. Thoughts?
This sounds normal to me as long as the discharge is clear. It is a raptor's way to rid themselves of salts. The discharge is more pronounced while eating and right after feeding.
