I lost one of my sponsor's saker/peregrine falcons in Simi Valley, CA yesterday. I've looking all over and don't believe he's in the area anymore. He's fat cause he's been moulting, and out of shape. But the crows are quieter than they've ever been here, not acting as if a new bird is in their territory. www.facebook.com/photos.php?id=1200996377#/album.php?aid=2003638&id=1200996377 That is the link to a few pictures I have of him so you can see his markings. He unfortunately doesn't have a bell on, and has one broken anklet. He does have a band on though. Please keep your eyes out for me, that would be great! Thanks! I'll be checking this regularly the next couple weeks, but if you need to let me know in a hurry, my cell is (818) 917-0439. Thanks again!

Hello,
We live in the west end of Simi and found a falcon in a large pine tree in our front yard on Sunday evening 6/29. We got pictures but the bird was camouflaged by tree branches and all you can see is an outline. We are amateur birdwatchers and my house is in the hills and I suspected we had spotted falcons before. I have been keeping an eye out but have not seen the bird again.
I just thought I would let you know, if we see it again I will contact you.
