The crew from TuffShed arrived at 12 noon to build the new mews. FalconBoy was here at 12:25 just in time to see the floor being finished. By 3:00 the mews was almost completely finished with just the doors and trim to be put on. We were amazed how fast this thing went up. The only mistake that was made was that the window on one end of the building was put at the wrong end. I told the crew to go ahead and install the side with the mistake and then I asked them if they could frame in another window on the other end of that same side of the building. They said they would do it if they had enough lumber when they were completely finished. I'll post some pictures of the mews in the next day or 2.
This is the new mews. Its 16 X 24 and it will have 3 chambers to start with plus a working space of about 14 X 10. This will be the last mews I have built so I decided to go for it. Yesterday while I was waiting for Dish TV to show up, I put the flight pen up and the eagle spent the night in it{flight pen} freelofted. Of course Dish TV didn't show up. I still have to put the shade colth on the top and cut in the windows after I cut the bars for them. The windows are already framed, I just have to cut the plywood that is over them. I'll take a picture today with the flight pen attached. img230.imageshack.us/img230/1838/noahsbird029qo3.jpg
This is the standard lean to design except the location of the framed windows and the extra door location. It wasn't cheap with a delivered price of $7100. My wife and I decided that it was worth the price to have it look professional built and I wouldn't have to put up with all the headaches of building it myself. Plus we are selling our house in California and we will make a very nice profit on that to pay for this. Amazing set-up. I wish I had the money and the room. Maybe in 20 years I will
Glad to see you are getting all set-up from the big move.

I have one more trip back to California to pick up the minor things {wife and 2 dogs} that I left behind and then we wil be done. Then maybe I can relax and enjoy NM for a while.
It's the minor things that make life worth living. ;D
Beautiful set up.

Finished putting the bar windows in today and now we are all ready for the female HH. I am going to try and get her shipped this next week and salvage a little of the season.
