First off yes I was angry and I apologize for calling you a p.o.s., but if I heard someone talk like that about birds in the real world your damn right I would say something to their face because that imo is disrespectful to our practice. I understand that you may take care of your birds just fine and the reason I said that was not because you did or didn't screen your mew, that in itself is your choice. I was responding to your attitude about a bird dying and you just getting another one because they are "free." They are not free, they are wild animals that deserve our utmost care and attention should we 'choose' to take them from the wild. I don't have to take the time to read any of dave's posts to understand what he meant by that comment, it's obvious. I'm sure you take care of your birds just fine I just thought it was disrespectful to the falconry community, there's not that many of us, for you to make a comment like that. And I didn't say you would be shot, like I'm going to shoot you, it's an expression to relate that someone who is a very experienced falconer and doing this his whole life would be disgraced to hear a fellow falconer say something of that nature. So yes, I spoke with a hot head, but I don't take back anything I said, no disrespect to all you fellow falconers on here who have made many comments, this was my first time on this site and after reading that I thought it was my duty to sign up and say something. Good luck to you all in your future endeavors. -John
