Hello again, I'm wondering if anyone has or knows links to any mews "blueprints" I could study. I'm trying to figure out how, if I become able to, build mews. I would be thankful for any information, Thank You.TEXTTEXT
Nice photo's of mews and lots of info for the redtail hawker. The redtail needs a little more room than the minimum and they are also happier in a taller mews with a high perch. Read everything you can by Gary Brewer he is a cut above when it comes to the redtail. squirrelhawking.homestead.com/home.html Blueprints are something that will depend on the available space you have to build on. Get some graph paper and kick some ideas around. Look at your state regs and make sure you have at least the minimum space required. Do you have a local falconer to ask questions about mews design? This link www.cetreria.com/ has almost 3,000 photo's mostly the birds of falconry but it also has equipment as well as mews photo's
I went around looking for mews links too, and this week i'm going to call my (potential) sponsor up and see what I can learn about them. But i collected a few sites i found:
The first and second link looks to belong to a very thorough site that doesn't look thoroughly done yet. So, i just posted the second so we can keep track.
I think sometimes we forget the links we post and the informarion available on the message board.LoL Good sign we're gettin old except for Bobdale who skipped and went straight to being Ancient ;D Roadkill you posted this translation link in the Ramka thread and I have it in my favorites. Works pretty good. I can speak fluent street spanish but I am still learning to read it as well as write it. I use the translater a lot and it is pretty accurate. www.freetranslation.com/
The links you posted have some ideas that I would like to add to my mews. Thanks for the link.

Thank you for the links. I don't think I'll base my blueprints on any fixed area because I am twelve and may have to wait { or move } before I can build mews. If I do move I would {hopefully} have a lot of acreage in a desert or heavily wooded area. Ex: NH, NM, etc.
WOW!....New Hampshire or New Mexico! Now thats a wide varient on where your going! ;D
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; give him a religion................ and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish."
I studied as many plans as i could, visisted as many mews as i could then made my own plans. I peiced together all the things i liked from everything i saw and omitted the things i didn't like. I took pics of the construction, but i don't have a good pic of the finished project. FB, when i get the mews trimmed out, can you spare, say, space for a 5-6 pic sequence of the construction? I should ask if anyone wants to see the pics first
