Yes you would still pass. I have chickens and ducks on my property as well, but they are penned 2 acres away downwind of my mew
Thanks...Mine wont be that far away...maybe 3/4 of an acre to the west..but I have yet to get that far...I am waiting to have someone take me on as an apprentice..But I want to be well prepared
I suggest a cube of 9x10x10, and if at all possible outside of a barn, especially if it's an old barn. my grandparents live in kentucky, and they have old barns... filled with trash (the neighbors used it like a land fill , you can bet my grandma was happy about that : Plus the old owners never cleaned out the manure or hay in them, and they have wasp nests and spiders... its bad, I'd just make sure its clean and properly sealed.
Matt - I have to clean out my back yard too... bermuda grass, stinging nettles, weeds, mud, wood chips, and dog poo... THAT is going to be OH so much fun. Plus i'm building my mews in a side yard, and the ground isn't level, it dips down in the center (do you have any ideas how to fill it?) I'm not sure how much it dips down though, untill i get it weeded though.
haha i can see it now.. patened after years of extreme try and fail... "Wolfs Doggy doo Be Gone!!" "can rid of that sh!t in seconds"
lol..
and Morgan my dad wants me to put my mews on this slanted "side yard" type thing also... but i dont feel safe doing it, im afraid that no matter how stiff the supports rae it might slide down etc.. i guess it depends on how steep the slope is!
if urs is like a foot un even.. i say just put supports under the mews.....? or make a concrete square under it. and this is off topic, so PM me or make a new thread about it so wolf doesnt get "pissy" at us
