So what does every one think? I'm planning to start this project in the summer on just the middle mews and work space area then as I get a better job and more time for more birds I'll add on the two side wings and maybe a weathering area attached to the front. It will be completely collapsible and portable with food shoots, food/equipment storage, plus lots of extras for me and the birds once I think of them. In the far future when I'm all settled down in a permanent spot I'll give it a proper foundation and get some pluming going for water spigots and a sink for easy cleaning and electricity for heating in the winter and lights for the moult. The flooring pic is pretty accurate to what I want with maybe a few adjustments in size, the dotted lines show the skylights and around where the roof would be, every thing else should be pretty easy to figure out. The 3d pic is nowhere near accurate but it does give you and idea of what it would look like. The middle mew should be around twelve feet high in front to 10 in the back. The side mews 9 in front to 7 in back and the work room 10 in back to 8-7 in front. Thats all I have for it now I would love your opinions and any thoughts on cool stuff to add.

I'm not sure what you mean by bars toward the ceiling if it is the long section above the work room it is just another window or unless you mean the skylights which are for more light and if the bird wants to sit in the rain. Collapsible as in it can be taken apart into panels and transported. For flooring it will probably be pea gravel or AstroTurf. Thanx for the comments guys, keep them coming

But that pose's a another question. If its a real downpour or if it snows... wont that cause alot of moisture in your mew?
I like mine very ventilated... its positioned in such a way that it constantly has a breeze flowing through it. Keeps it realitivily dry. Should it start to snow or rain sideways I can just close the windows.
If my bird wants a bath or too cool down he can just jump in the bath pan in the weathering area.

I'll rig somthing up to cover the windows for geting it dark to man a new bird and for sever stoms, but most of the time when bad weather hits I just bring my bird inside.
