thanks for the links, pretty much the same as colorado so far. i think that it is mostly going over the federal rules. ill work on calling them tomorrow and see if i can get someone to mail me the info.
i am thinking of possibly moving to washington mid 2008. anyone in washington that may be able to get me this info would be appriciated greatly. that and good places for hunting. is eastern better? i lived in eastern oregon for a while and i think it would be great.

one word.
Eastern ;D
Eastern Washington is where most of the people who hunt and shoot live. the notheastern part has a lot of whitetail deer, (more than anywhere else in the state) turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and thankfully, a low level of PETA and animal rights nuts. I've also heard that there are some of the best avian vets in the state around here, as well as a raptor rehab center and a few falconers.
Most people thing of Washington as 'the state of Seattle' with the space needle and the killer whales and all that nice stuff. The govenor stole the election, (you may have heard of this) and the first thing she does is to set a gas tax for 'fixing roads'. and where does it all go? the floating bridge in Seattle. It's is pretty mutch the most ignored part of the state. tell anyone from anywhere else you're from somewher in eastern Washington and they'll say "where?"

Eastern? eastern doenst have NEAR as many cottontails from what i have heard/scene!
i say come to the wet side! get a good rabbit dog, and run those blackberriers!!!
eastern has more pheasants etc... but id say, go the wet side! cottontails and a squirrels! not many squirrels, but cottontails! and you cant hunt jacks in WA state so eastern wouldnt be worth it for that ... again the wet side!!!!!
