Does anyone know if falconry is legal in Ecuador? I'm an apprentice in Seattle, WA, and I will be living and volunteering in either Puerto Rico or Ecuador for a year... but I don't want to give up falconry the whole time! I know it's not legal in Puerto Rico, but I can't find anything relating to falconry in Ecuador. Thanks, ~Aurelia

Sounds like it's at least legal: www.raptorrep.com/HTArchive/lstmsg97/874169145.arc.html Don't know how many people practice falconry there though. Might be few and far between but I could be totally wrong. Anyone know??
Yeah I read that post earlier. I thought it might have changed since then - it doesn't say how many years ago that was. If I go to Ecuador and falconry is legal, but I can't find other falconers, I can still email my sponsors .
