i am new to this forum, i figure i should start with my art, because that is how my love of birds of prey truly germinated in many ways.
all these paintings were done on stage while a band, dubconscious, performed.

these paintings are the beginning of what looks to be a lifelong journey for me. i have always held a great interest in bird of pray of all sort. my mom remembers when i was just a small child there was a red-tail that would come land on our deck and i would sit there admiring it for as long as it would stay. but i didn't realize the extent of my relationship with these animals until recently. i had a series of what i would consider the most profound experiences of my life, shared with an enormous red-tailed hawk. since, i have been reading extensively about the creatures, and have gained quite a bit of knowledge over the past 7 months, and i plan to pursue falconry when the time is right. it is now a cornerstone to my goals in life and a torch that lights my way. i will be moving to the woods outside of asheville,nc in a place called mills river this august, at which point i will begin to situate myself further to educate myself and the begin to practice falconry. i hope you will enjoy my work, i figure the people on this forum can relate fully to what it is i am attempting to illustrate. please give me feedback, and all that you can do to help me pursue this path will be greatly appreciated.
