Thanks for uploading for me, appreciate it. The items are: Peregrine, Bald Eagle, Bald Eagle, Crowned Eagle, and Kestrel. Again, greatly appreciate the assistance!
Have many other pieces, though few birds. My mainstay is predatory animals, and as the name indicates, wolves primarily. Sorry but the website is not ready yet, been a bit busy.
Mostly with the birds I work from pictures, though I am working at changing that! ;D Normally, with the other animals they are live models (not that they stand still and participate as asked, mind you!) With wolves alot of it is memory, same with some of the cats, but that is because I have been fortunate enough to work with enough of them to be accustomed to their movement and personalities... would like to be able to add the falcons and hawks since I have spent so many years admiring them (yea, I am one of those people that pull over and take pictures of the RT on the telephone poles). Fell in love though when a lonely peregrine was flying about a shopping center calling for its owner to come back. Took us a couple days to get someone here to handle the bird, and was kind of sorry to see it go, but it really seemed fretful being left unattended. (I understand the owner was located once they got the information from the band on its leg, and they were reunited.) The beauty of these birds is really incredible. Want to be able to do them justice in my artwork... and hope to do so with my other subjects...
did you say "stop" to take pictures? NOEL!!!! What an idea we could stop when we see hawks on the side of the road, I bet we could reduce our insurance claims if we started doing that.
Well Chris, I would think the picture would come out much better if you weren't swerving around or being run into... But maybe I'm wrong! Think I'll stick with my method if you don't mind, just bought this car!

Who said anything about us swerving??.....It's the other folks that are swerving when we are in there lanes... ;D
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; give him a religion................ and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish."
Unfortunately that means I am the big black sedan behind you, with pretty lights... But I'd let you slide as long as you share the photo's! ;D
DOH!!!!.....What is it with police and falconry?!? An apprentice that lives by me is a detective.......he said he can't wait to get the chance to pull me over.....I told him that I have counter measures....I'll throw donuts out the window as I speed away.....He didn't think it was funny though....

Actually, ive been pulled over for "being suspecious" "littering" "stalking" and "loitering without permission" mutiple times in the same devolpment when trying to trap. and just for an update, the cars here are blue and white
So was the one that gave me my speeding ticket.....

Interesting. And how about explanations? How do they receive those? Your in MD, which part? Out here in VA it is possible to draw attention, but I suppose I would have to keep this thought in mind. No need to loose security clearances over bird captures if at all possible. Do you use particular equipment which looks suspicious or something? Have you attempted discussions with local PD's to avoid misunderstandings...? OK, big question, does this happen to most people?

I have had the police stop and stuff while my wife and I were watching kestrels. i think only one or maybe two occaisions, no big hassles though, sometimes they would go by and just kinda check me out.
"every dream you keep inside, another part of you has died"
So if they stop you just explain what your doing and they move on? Nothing they can really complain about though I assume. I would think it would be easier to avoid housing areas, though in some places that may be more difficult than it sounds...
