Doesn't seem like there's been much Tennessee Falconer activity but i was wondering if i could get a little help with starting out. Im not requesting a sponsor or anything i would simply like to figure out how to get a application package(Its extremely vague on the twra website, or maybe just formated horribly) as well as any additional materials to get started out. Ive already ordered a book on falconry (I believe it was "A Falconry Manual by Beebe) and if i enjoy it i will surely be picking up the California Hawking Club study guide and APprentice manual to study for my exam I live in nashville, tn and i am an avid hunter and fisher, as well as a life scout nearing my eagle scout rank, though i havent been hunting in a little while(started out this deer season bowhunting strong but just havent gotten to it recently). As always, anything helps and i will probably be making a facebook account solely for the purpose of trying to join the falconry association group as there is no website or other information on it.

The FB route is definitely more active, and there are several falconers there in the middle TN area that are active in the group. Feel free to ask questions here on this site as well.

I’m brand new to this site and live just south of Nashville. Looking for a master falconer that might need a fella to assist them on hunts. Eager to learn.
