Hey everyone, I'm can't call myself a Falconer at this point though it has interested me since I was about 8 years old. Never had a chance to really get into it and it has come up lately. I am really into the exploratory part of it, seeking out Masters or Generals who might lend some insight into the art so I can properly judge whether I can commit to it or not.
As an offer of trade for information you might provide (maybe even a demonstration), I live on 30 acres in Southeast Murfreesboro (Kittrell Area). The property is full of rabbit and a few squirrel along with small birds like Dove. Lots of other large game as well. Most of the property is clear however, there are power lines through some of it. We live there and we also raise some small farm animals including chickens, guinea, quail, and some small dogs for breeding. The chickens are fenced, the guinea are not but, they tend to see the Red Tails on our land long before they can strike. The quail are fenced though part of our plan in raising them is to release them as wild for some sport. The dogs are fenced as well.
Anyway, I can't say for sure that I am ready to become an apprentice yet but, should I do so, I need a Master or General looking for an apprentice in my area. My hope was that I could learn more from a potential Master or General and take it from there.
I just joined the Facebook Group and will post this message there as well.
Thank you in advance to anyone interested in teaching me more.
