Hey guys, I live in Mesa. I am new too the idea of becoming a falconer and I just had a few questions about getting your first falcon. From what I know, you have to catch it. Since I'd be beginning I was thinking I would go for a red tail falcon. How would you go about catching one? I see a few falcons in my neighborhood flying around, can I go for those? I live right next to a desert so I don't know how difficult it would be to get one. Any info on it would be really appreciated. Thanks!
make a run up to payson tomorrow Saturday and go to the payson wildlife fair at the green valley park. the AFA will have a booth there. I will be there we can go over all the stuff you will need. my name is Jason you can ask for me.
Well, starting July 1st, I'll be living in Anthem, Arizona. Looking forward to meeting some Arizona falconers and finding a sponsor. Arizona, here I come! There better be Dr. Pepper...

I live in Gilbert, Arizona currently and I am... well, not NEW to the idea of falconry, but recently more interested in it then I have been in the past. Mostly because I am approaching a point in my life when I will have both the facilities, space, and time to become an apprentice. I look foreward to learning more, and hopefully becomming a falconer.

This is my first post here. Not even an apprentice yet. I love in the north valley. I am very interested and have been for a long time. I would really like to talk with a falconer and maybe even witness a hunt before I devote as much time as required to practice this sport.
