I did. I've read everything on it. I even emailed Bob and tried to get an associate membership which hasn't gone through.
When I asked for emails I mean't just people you guys knew close to the area. I emailed Bob a couple time and have be very paitent since then. It's be about a month of me just waiting until Dec 12th to go to a Falconry meet. Mind you I've waited a month with no new information. Then it will be another year wait before even becoming a Apprentice Falconer. Which is why I want to find a person to talk to. I don't want to keep bugging Bob and sound really pushy. He has a life and other matters to attend to rather then be the focus to a 16 year old teenager.
I was just curious to see if anyone might be able to help me out. But if not that is perfectly fine. I've waited a month and I'll wait a year it's no skin off my nose. I have the time and the money to do Falconry it's just time to wait and be paitent.
I'm from Central NC (Montgomery County) but currently living in the United Arab Emirates, about a mile from the Falconry Research Center and the Nad Al Sheeba Falconry Mews. Someone from back home say hello sometime!
My next trip back will be mid-November (11th) and staying until mid-December. The wife and kids are still there so I get back every couple of months when I can.
Hi guys. Im looking for someone in the charlotte area to help me get more info on falconry. Seems like a WONDERFUL sport and I'll love to look into it to see if it works for me and something I can pursue.
Thanks for your help. I really really really look forward to this. I have sat on it for about a month to see if I was still into it and I can't shake it ha ha.
yeah but finding them is the hard part ha ha. I e-mailed the guild president but still have not heard back from him on any info for contacting someone from this area.

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away
Not sure if this is a dead thread. Im in the Wilmington area and in the research phase of the sport been reading all the books and forums that I can get my hands on. Hopefully I can find someone in the area who can teach me more about it. Anyone know if there are Falconers in my area?
