I was in Woodinville about twelve years ago when I was visiting my sister who lived in Seattle at the time. There was a winery there that we toured. As I recall Woodinville was a really nice area. Of course, I think that whole Puget Sound area is one of the nicest places I've visited in the U.S.
I took the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train once from Renton to the Columbia Winery. It was dark out so I couldn't see exactly how far we were going to get to the winery but it was north of Belleview, i remember that much. The dinner was awesome, the winery tour and tasting was fantastic, and the desert on the way back was heavenly! I would suggest it to anyone!

I would like to visit there and make that trip with her again. This time though we would take notes! Yarak
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away
It was actually a present for my 21st birthday, so I'm not completely sure of the price but i believe it was up there, like fifty bucks per person or something. I can get ahold of the person who took me though and get some contact info for ya.
Aaron, It was Chateau Ste. Michelle. They made soem pretty good wine there and I still pick up a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc from time to time (when I can afford it ).
I wish my sister still lived in the Seattle area, so I'd have an excuse to visit. It's definitely a cool area and I like the fact that everyone seemed to be pretty outdoor oriented.

I had no idea so many falconers lived in the NW!!! I tried doing what I could to find falconers but kept coming up with no one (guess I should have joined a forum earlier ) I have wanted to see a falconer with their bird but I live in Vancouver, WA and Renton, WA (parents divorced). I will admit, I have had no training with raptors what-so-ever, but am very interested in it. Someone e-mail me if you can help.
Are you anywhere close to Tacoma? I have a friend that lives there who has been practicing falconry for about 30 years. I am sure he wouldn't mind taking you out when he hunts his birds.
