Well, I guess it's my turn. I live deep in the woods of western Washington, outside a teeny little town called Elma. Where men wear flannels and Spotted Owls are homeless. Michelle (the damp one)
Wenatchee (had to look it up for spelling : is on the east side of the mountains from me. The dry side. I've been to a few places on the "other side" but not there. The meet we just had was southwest of there.
I don't know how you can live in those conditions.....Brrrr....I prefer to sweat, rather that freeze.

I hate hot and humid, like spring and summer in florida. I just cant sleep at night... The rain makes you have to use rubber boots for hunting but the plants seem to like it. This summer we had some of the best weather we've had in awhile...
Other seasons here CAN be beautiful. I don't know about Woodinville, haven't spent much time there, but here we get alot of morning fog. The sunrise through the right amount of fog over a woodsy horizon can be really gorgeous. I grew up in West Seattle, and driving along the ridge overlooking the water provided some real soul moving veiws.
I like my four seasons as short as summer can be. As for Noel I'll agree to some point, don't care much for the humidity that comes with living to close to the water thow i don't care much for too much heat after all i can always put on a thicker sweater if it's cold but I can only get so naked when it's hot out.
In Texas we don't go outside in the summer....We hibernate. Even the city of Dallas has a maze of tunnels connecting most of the buildings together so we don't have to go outside in the heat. It gets to 110 degrees fairly easily in the summer, but it's the humidity that goes with it that sucks. A vehicle without A/C is torture during the day.

I got in my friend's Mercedes in London and something looked weird, couldn't figure out what. Then i realized that it didn't have an air conditioner! That wouldn't fly in the good ole US of A, would it.
Good point, I didn't think about it but our Mini....mini....very mini van we rented in England didn't have A/C either....funny... In New Jersey, we didn't have central A/C. All we had where a few window units if it ever got hot enough....

I was in Woodinville about twelve years ago when I was visiting my sister who lived in Seattle at the time. There was a winery there that we toured. As I recall Woodinville was a really nice area. Of course, I think that whole Puget Sound area is one of the nicest places I've visited in the U.S.

I don't have AC in my truck but it don't get quite that warm thou the wifes car has it and we use it on long summer drives mostly through the Fraser Canyon
