Hi all
I am new to the Falconry game and very interested in getting started. If anyone has any tips to lead me to starting my apprenticeship or getting involved with the community, i would be greatly appreciative.

I live in Lemay Missouri. At my home I frequently see the following Birds of Prey: American Kestrels, Red tail hawks, American Bald Eagles, Peregrine falcons, Cooper hawks, Screech owl, Turkey Vultures and Barred Owls. I live less than one mile from the Mississippi River (Near St. Louis). I do not have the lifestyle to care for a captive bird of prey even-though I would love to be more active in falconery. I spend the "Bird Time" I do have at the World Bird Sanctuary near St Louis (Walter Crawford). I would like to become active in the hunt, even in just a observation role with falconers in the St Louis Area. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any local falconer, but I have not given up yet, I am still looking.
