Looking ahead, my mom is going to buy land (probably five acres) in central oregon because I don't have enough money to. I want to put up signs banning hunting except for falconers. Does anyone know if you can buy pre-made signs like this? Or do you have to go to a sign company and special order them? On the other hand, I could put up signs that say "No hunting except with written permission from owner" and include my phone number. I just wanted to make it easier for other falconers to use while I'm not there...

I would say just put up "no Hunting" or "No Trespassing" signs. And give people you know permission to hunt there verbally. No need to make special signs.

I knew someone had a farm that had "No trespassing" on it, and had a dead hawk RIGHT outside the gate.
Not sure if it was electrocuted or what, but it was pretty suspicious to me.
Guy owned a few acres, had mainly horses. Never saw much of anything going on out there, but it looked like a great hawk spot for a place I never saw much of the was of hawks at. Large dead trees, alive ones on edges, bushes and random hay areas here and there.
Once saw a few RTs near it, but soon they dissapeared...Same with a couple vultures...
i agree with kenbro. if you want you could always give written permission to people to hunt on it. I know in NY if you hunt on private land you are suposeto get written permission not many people do though.
Now I see how lucky I am. Living in Quebec have at least one good side: the space! And I'm lucky enough to have a step-father who own many (and I mean more than 100) acres. I have a land of approximately 60 acres, just behind my house that I can use whenever I want.
But, in fact, that's almost necessary, since we don't have as much quarry than you have. Even then, I think I am really lucky to have so much land to play with. Eh, at the end, even Quebec have some qualities!
