we have a local place over here that sells them for a buck a piece. but i would figure out what it cost for you to breed them and take care of them and divide it by how many you have then bump the price a bit, just enough to make you some cash.

Raising game birds is not cheap and is not done for profit! I have a few friendw with game farms and they have had them for years and never made a profit or even broke even. Basically you do it because you like the birds....you know, an enjoyable hobby and selling them will merely help offset the cost a bit. Depending on the species we buy quail here in Utah for $1 to $1.20 per bird whether it is dead or alive and chicks that are about 3-5 days old are 60 cents. I was thinking of breeding quail, chuckar and pheasants but by the time you buy the netting and poles for the pens, all the food, the incubators, the brooders and the breeder birds themselves.....it is not financially feasable for me especially since I spend up to $3200 per month on food for all my parrots! Trust me, let the richer people raise them and just buy them! LOL
