I need some help idk if anyone's had any similar problems, but I thought maybe some one on here has and you might be able to help me out.
Anyways, I've been keeping my quail chicks in a 10 gal fish tank with a light on um with shavings for um to walk on. Anyways when it rained this weekend humidity shot up, and there was a problem with the water bottle and it leaked and soaked all the shavings. I was moving the chicks into another cage while I cleaned out there other, and I noticed that there down was all matted down and not fluffy like they normally are. I've tried washing it clean, but it's still all matted down.
Any help would be appreciated, a link to a game bird forum would be sweet too!
From my understanding it is probably just the moisture in the air. See if when they dry it gets better if not I have a friend in AZ that might be able to help.
Never settle.
