I didn't see a thread about this so here it is. Can you Hawk Partrige with a RT? I doubt a kestrel would Stand up to the Wing Beats but maybe. we have a Fair amount Round My house, plugged a couple with my 22. Can a RT Take one out they arn't That Fast are they?

A redtail could certainly take one out if the set up was perfect, Kia my redtail just missed one last week (I actually thought she had it). But from what I have seen is... the flush is when you least expect it, you don't normally see them setting out in the open. The ones I have flushed have been hidden under the snow and you just about have to step on them to get them up and the bird is always out of position. My male Harris pulled feathers once but that was a close as we have gotten. I guess I would use a Goshawk!
