Well Brandi, You have avoided much of the hazing lately so we thought we'd give you a little taste....hehehe.....Plus I'm bored....that helps ;D
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; give him a religion................ and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish."
"Hell hath no fury like a woman feeding chicken to her hawk"....or something like that?....Right?......

Nope, Eddie. No chicken! Several ppl here in Mo feed their birds cockerel and turkey necks. It's been recommended to me as good food that provides good casting material. So, i'm glad i read this thread.
When my birds take a rabbit or pheasant and break into it in the field I always have some type of red meat like quail or my own raised pigeon to transfer the bird off of the kill with.
Quail is red meat? it sure does look white to me, at least compared to sparrow....

I guess I would consider quail more of a pink meat. The quail I get is pink to dark pink but I've seen lesser quality raised quail that was white, nearly reminded me of a fillet of fish....yuck!
