I too use the L&L transmitters. You can't go wrong with them. I have an LF-2 model and I have had no problems with it. The Powermax is a good transmitter for use on a backpack mounting system as it can be left on indefinatly and turned on and off via a magnet switch.

I might sell ya one of my leg mounts or part trade for Tally
Keep trying Buddy but Tally is going nowhere apart from here. Emma is now flying at 2lb 2oz and considering Rob is having problems with pheasants Emma is now taking them in her sleep
Tally & Emma have taken Hare and pheasant i would not want to break up the partnership. Then we have Barmy Bert coming back!! ;D
Now if you have some marshall telemetry tail clips to bring down the BHA tonight i might bring you a Pheasant as a trade off.

Marshall has a new TX, the Scout. $125. 40 miles range, leg or tail mount. Battery lasts for 40 days. Perfect for a HH or RT.
JF was kind enough to bring one back from the states for me. Its very impressive i have to say and the cost is so low compared with others. I think Marshall will wipe the floor with them

You would be just fine with your RSH. I going to have to see how this new scout's review are after a year or so before I buy. I have heard a lot of mixed feelings about Marshall transmitters. Personally I think I'm going to stick with the Merlin FMV transmitters. 8 grams, 35days/30miles LOS, 2yr warranty for 130bucks. I have heard nothing but good reviews with them. I guess we will see how the Marshall's do before I buy one. So go forth Guinea Pigs and get me some reviews. LOL -zach

I used to think i knew some things. But i'm not so sure anymore.
I have 2 of the Merlin 30 day FMV transmitters. I have always had good service with them. I also have 2 of the Merlin mini's for the smaller birds and they work great.
