I bought the mikes falconry giant hood www.mikesfalconry.com/Hawk-or-Falcon-Carrier-p/hk1.htm probably 2 months ago. I'm not going to post pictures because it looks just like the pictures. Overall I'm quite pleased with it for the price, I think it was about ~240 shipped to my door. The cutout for the leash out the front door is nice. I wish it had different style latches that would actually lock, but these seem to do the trick so far. I also like that there is a leash attachment tie outside the front of the box.
Just so you are aware, there are light baffles inside the box. In other words, there are aluminum pieces that are attached inside of the vent holes. It is angled up towards the roof to help deflect light away from the bird (to keep the box dark). For a redtail that is well behaved in the box they haven't been an issue. However, if you have a bird that bounces around inside the box, it is something to think about as there is a small gap at the top where if the bird really tried it could presumably get something stuck.
Since its mostly redtails in my near future, I feel like this box was a pretty good deal for the money. It also saved me a lot of headache of having to make a box. I'd buy another for a redtail as long as the base price is the same ($199.00)

Ethics make the individual, not the other way around.
I just ordered a couple things from Mike and cannot wait to get them! They pricing is affordable, only thing is the shipping, but thats no their problem, shipping to Canada is pricey to begin with haha.
