Tommy got his first CT last Friday. He's been unsuccessful on them so far, but really got this one good. He was in a tree in the middle of some reeds and wouldn't come down. I started working the edge and making my way towards him thinking that he might have seen something, but was really thinking most likely not. Then he really seemed to be watching the ground below him about 30 yards away, and then he was off. I yelled to my sponsor that he was off on something and went running to where I saw him heading. All of the sudden, I heard THE SCREAM!!! I had to sit still and enjoy it for a second, but also get my bearings and find out exactly where he was. Luckily he kept sceaming and I found him. I dispatched the bunnt and let him crop waaaaay up! I never even thought to work the reeds back there before, and only did so after my sponsor told me that he kicks them out of them all the time. I also think I need to go out with him more, as Tommy has caught game every time he has been with us. Not only is he my sponsor, but he's our good luck charm.
