I started my MRT by placing him on the t-perch then throwing a tidbit to the ground. I lengthened the amount of time on the perch between tidbits and after a while started walking around occasionally throwing a tidbit. Worked well for me but lately he's started using the highest available perch because his success rate is higher. He'll still use the t-perch if it's the closest to the action but the field I've been hunting lately has a huge elm in the center of it. Kurt
if you have anywhere with big hills say the foot hills of a mountain take it up on a nice sunny day with some wind and cast it off and just let it fly around my red tail i had went straight up in to a thermal and then i threw out a pigeon for her and she dove for about a second then pulled off and kept soaring so i started walking around then threw the lure out for her and she came right down. The next time i went up hunting i cast her off she found a thermal and was about a 100 feet when my dog went on point and flushed a rabbit she came down and smashed it into the ground and after that she would almost all ways soarhawk
