I just figured I'd share this to give you all a good laugh.
I have been having some HUGE weasel/mink issues and have had traps out every night. I used pigeon parts as bait but hadn't caught a thing, though the traps were often tripped. So I thought to myself what is the perfect bait... rabbits! Weasels love rabbits,.... but wait how do I catch a rabbit? No sooner did I start thinking of how to do this than did my brother's cat run up to me. Hmmmm.... this could work. So I brought the cat with me to the pasture and started beating brush. He then took off after something into a wild rose bush! Out dashes an injured rabbit (broken back leg, not from the cat) though hurt it is still pretty quick, the cat closes in then pounces on it. He gets kicked off, then tries again to pounce on it. This time he caought it, I walked over and picked up the rabbit, and put it in a chicken pen for later use . And that is how one can go "rabbit catting" .

One of these days I'll find the time to get a permit... until then, all of you better keep the pics and stories comming!
Perhaps the first I've heard of with cats buut the Egyptions used to use Cheeta for sport hunting. And of course there where all the dog coursing so ya the sports of this type have excisted. But just the same what a hoot that would be.
