hey guys, I noticed yesterday that Diana has a bunch of spots (no color and look like nipples) all over her stomach, between the legs, and a few on the ear. I thought they were bug bites, but now that I look at my Lab pups she has a different type, the Lab pups only have a few spots on thier bellys and those spots are Red. I am calling the vet after I get home from work.

They do look like bug bites, but I believe you that they're not. Does she scratch or lick at them? Could be some sort of skin infection. Rusty had one about this time last year and vet gave him an antibiotic that cleared it right up. She said it was caused by fleas, the fleas would bite and leave an opening in the skin which in turn gets infected. We hadn't been treating for fleas over the winter, but the vet recommended year treatment, especially for indoor/outdoor dogs, which we now do. I recommend Advantix once a month. Have you been treating for fleas and tics? Do you shampoo, and if so how often and with what? Over washing can dry the skin. Are you still feeding an egg once a month.? Has she been out in the brush? Could she have gotten into something that would irritate her skin? Do you have poisonous plants? I don't know what or how they may affect a dog. You don't need to answer my questions. I'm just throwing some things out to think about before you go to the vet in case he/she asks. I would like to know what the vet says so keep us posted.
No eggs are fed... We hav't washed her for like 3 months, so Fleas are a possibility... I will get some flea treatment supplies next time I am in town. She dosn't scratch them, Which makes me absolutely sure they are not bug bites... The wierdest thing is that they are the greatest concentraion alon the edges of her leg... the center has the very few in comparison to her thighs... I hope it's nothing to bad we have a couple things to deal with at the vet... ear mites...
